Food Bowl™ Hudson Valley, A Poughkeepsie Day School Community Project is returning to Poughkeepsie Galleria from April 5 through April 13.
Three area school teams will showcase their unique structures made from non-perishable foods and compete in a public judging of their works – all to benefit the hungry in the Hudson Valley. The competition will feature the unique designs of students from the Randolph School, Green Chimneys School – Clearpool Campus and Poughkeepsie Day School, the official organizer and promoter of the competition.
Food Bowl™ Hudson Valley raises awareness about local hunger and food insecurity while facilitating the donation of thousands of pounds of non-perishable food to local food pantries including the Food Bank of the Hudson Valley.
The community is invited to vote for the People’s Choice award from April 6 through April 12 by donating non-perishable food items and leaving them in a receptacle near their favorite structure.
