Tykes Tuesday Continues at Poughkeepsie Galleria
Poughkeepsie, NY – Following a very successful kick off session this past Tuesday, June 25 featuring DC Sports, Tykes Tuesday continues tomorrow with our friends from Build-A-Bear Workshop and Pearle Vision.
Every Tuesday this summer beginning tomorrow, June 25th, and running through August 13th, Poughkeepsie Galleria will be the site of family-friendly fun for kids of all ages. Now in its twenty-eight year at Poughkeepsie Galleria, “Tykes Tuesday” (formerly Club Galleria) offers a new activity every week from 10:00am until 11:30am in Center Court for families looking for something fun to do over the summer break.
The activities, which will be sponsored by retailers in Poughkeepsie Galleria, as well as by local organizations, aim to provide educational entertainment for children up to age 12. The program is sponsored by iHeartMedia’s Q92 and Fidelis Care and in partnership with Fit4Mom Lagrangeville and is free for both children and parents.
The Tykes Tuesday schedule is as follows:
July 2 – Build-A-Bear Workshop & Pearle Vision Activities
July 9 – Kirwan’s Game Store Comic Day with Special Guest
July 16 – Hudson Valley Renegades Baseball Fun
July 23 – JCPenney KidZone
July 30 – MHVFCU Berenstain Bears Program
August 6 – American Red Cross Pillow Project
August 13 – Magic Show with Illusionist Ryan Dutcher
Also occurring at Poughkeepsie Galleria this summer is Regal Cinemas’ Summer Movie Express, which will show different G- and PG-rated movies for only $1 every Tuesday and Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Additionally, a number of retailers and eateries will be providing discounts for families who attend Tykes Tuesday. Get a free kids meal every Tykes Tuesday at Ruby Tuesday with each purchase of an adult entrée after 5:00pm. Flyers with these exclusive discounts will be circulated at the weekly programs.
