Celebrate the season of giving with WRRV’s Shop with a Cop, one of our favorite annual events dedicated to spreading holiday cheer in the Hudson Valley!

This heartwarming program, a collaboration between WRRV, the Town of Poughkeepsie PBA, and local law enforcement agencies, ensures that children and families in need experience the joy of the holidays. During the event, kids team up with police officers to enjoy memorable shopping sprees, creating lasting smiles and a sense of community.

Last year, over 40 families participated, and this year, we aim to help even more—over 50 families! But we need your support to make it happen.

• Donate: Mail checks to WRRV Shop with a Cop, 2 Pendell Rd, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 (payable to The Town of Poughkeepsie PBA). Cash donations can be dropped off at the station, or donate online here.
• Sponsor: Business owners can sponsor a child or family. Email [email protected] to explore sponsorship opportunities.
• Volunteer: Are you a law enforcement officer? Join us in creating unforgettable experiences for local families. Email [email protected] to get involved.
• Nominate a Family: Know a family in need? Nominate them confidentially to participate in this year’s event.
